About Me

When I am not working, you can find me hiking, camping, traveling about the country, spending time with family, or curled up on a couch with a good book. Anyone with money for gas and a sense of adventure can see our beautiful country, and I have visited 43 states. I've surveyed the vastness of the Grand Canyon, walked the Vegas strip on a summer night, stared awestruck at the sights and sounds of Niagara Falls, contemplated the Lincoln Memorial up close, and watched farmers make maple syrup in Vermont. I spent a glorious day driving the California coastline and once made the trek to Plains, Georgia to hear President Jimmy Carter preach. I have been to both coasts and almost every state in between, and I'm not done yet. I love God and love others, and I strive to honor Him in all that I do.

For nine years, my husband and I have endeavored to visit the headquarters of every team in the National Football League, recreating the iconic huck-n-buck bubble gum card photos of the past. Thus far, we have visited 29 of the 32 teams -- and some of those visits have been pretty memorable.
